Thank you for watching this 8 minute video. How do you know if you’re getting enough traffic to your website? Is your competitor getting your patients?
Here are few ways to tell:
Put into a Google Search the name of your practice and the city.
Example: Randolph Orthopedics, Asheboro NC
What happens when people look for you? Do you show up at the top of the search engines like this practice. You will see that Randolph Orthopedics is listed on the entire 1st page of a search, entire 2nd page, entire 3rd page, entire 4th page…. in fact, I kept looking, and the first page – page 10- is the first page where one of the listings isn’t related directly to Randolph Orthopedics.
Now, put some of your keywords into the search engine
What words do patients use to find you? What phrases? For example, another one of our clients, Ballantyne Center for Dentistry, in Charlotte NC, would like to have a strong presence for the phrase “afraid of the dentist.”
So, we’ll put into the search engines, Afraid of the dentist, Charlotte NC
As you can see, Ballantyne Center for Dentistry is the 1st organic, 2nd organic, 3rd and 4th organic listings, and 2 videos. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will start to see other practices. But, if you are afraid of the dentist, and looking for someone to make an appointment with, who would you choose? Ballantyne Center for Dentistry, of course.
Try it on one of your keyword phrases, and see how your practice does.
